Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped producing steam after five minutes of use Just brought it and it only took five minutes before it stopped working, pull the trigger and nothing, not even a sound like it did to produce the steam. Yes it was plugged it, yes the lights were on and it was still hot. How a company sell something that fails straight away is beyond me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pathetic excuse of a steam mop! I bought the Vax Steam Fresh Pro today and sputtered for about 1 min and then no steam! complete waste of time. Wish I’d seen the reviews above before purchasing. Back to Bunnings I go!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from same thing same thing, turned it on , followed all the instructions, its so weighty, and the handle is so weak, stopped working straight away, had to keep pushing the handle back on to get the trigger to work, when you did that it produced the steam, but in the end got the cranks with it and it broke the handle completely it was so flimsy.. its in the skip.. looking for a better stem vac now, one that inst so flimsy.. could probably have put up with this if the handle didnt break, but it just kept coming off and snapped in the end

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cleans up great I bought this six months ago from the Good Guys and use it for my weekly floor clean. I have slate and also vinyl on most of my floors and it gets everything clean if the cloth is anything to go by. Picks up any pet fuzz as well. I have also used it to clean my oven, cooktop and shower recess and everything comes up really shiny and fresh. Love it. Only negative is that it can be quite heavy to push backwards and forwards if you have back issues. The weight of the machine isn't heavy, its the pressure of the wet cloth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Covid cleaning stress!! Unfortunately I have had to take this steam mop back twice and now I am not convinced and will need to have a complete refund. The first time it worked until it just stopped. The second mop did not release the detergent as with this third one. I wondered if I read the instructions wrong but no as customer service advised me to return it for a refund. I thought there may have been a instruction video on line as I really wanted it to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use it a lot and it works great for me I'm surprised to see the bad reviews on here as I'm a very picky consumer and I find this product to be excellent. I use it a lot as I have a lot of tiles in my living, entrance, bathroom and hallways areas at home. This steam mop works well and makes steam the whole time as long as it has water in the tank. I add a touch of cleaning fluid antiseptic to the solution tank to leave a clean smell and it does this great, although I keep the solution dial down very low or it will sometimes leave a cloudy finish if you use too much. My only gripe is that no one stocks the cleaning pads in store so I have to pay postage to get them but that's not a big deal as many other steam mops don't even bother to sell replacements. Also, it has a really nice long cord so you can reach most places without needing an extension lead. Purchased from Bunnings about 10 months ago.

Are they Microfiber cloths reusable? If so do you clean them in the washing machine?

I’ve just bought a VAX steam mop, water and detergent is filled.  No steam is being produced.  Green light is on indicating it’s ready

Hi Ashley Thanks for reaching out, once the green light is on all you need to do is pull the trigger on the handle (for first use you may need to wait for 30 seconds or so for any air in the line to bleed out before steam starts to appear) if this does not happen then we recommend returning the unit back to the place of purchase.
