Rated 5 out of 5 by from VAX VWC White Bagless Vacuum Cleaner What a surprise packet is the great little vacuum cleaner, light, easy to handle and operate for an aged pensioner like me, and powerful suction - much better than the big brand name vacuum I have put aside (braand name starts with a "D''as it was a ball design and keeps tipping over upside down, just goes to show that the most expensive brand is over-rated, whereas the VAX is fantastic and fit for its purpose.

I bought this fantastic vacuum and I've had it about a month or so now and have found it to be efficient with fantastic powerful suction cleaning carpets and floors. Very happy with the vac so far. The filters are easy to dust off. My review is based on the time that I have had this vacuum so far and I have found it a fantastic vacuum so far. Great for all round cleaning I find it vacs pet hair on the carpets up pretty well to.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Annoying. Buy something else. The suction is good... until the barrel gets clogged and it happens so quickly and easily. The barrel is a pain to empty, so many different sections that the dust gets stuck in, you really have to get your hands dirty to pull out everything that is tangled in there (made worse if someone has long hair in the household). Ends up in such a mess you have to try and empty it while it's in a bag and even then it goes everywhere. The top filter needs to be washed clean so if you need to vacuum and realise it's not sucking because the filter is due for a clean, you need to wash it and it takes 24 hours to dry. The filter cover on the wheel keeps falling off, the hepa filter once fell out too while I was vacuuming and I didn't notice. Gross. I've had to tape it on as it will NOT lock in. It is also incredibly loud. Will never buy a vax again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Poor Cleaner Have only had this machine for approx. 6 months and have had trouble with it within the first couple of months of purchase. This was recommended to me by staff members who said the Vax is good......NOT THIS ONE. The suction when I first started to use this vacuum was good, however after a few uses, the suction was not good/IT HAS NO SUCTION. Also didn't help when the cover over the wheel filter keeps pooping off whenever machine is turned on (have to use duct tape to keep in on, but still half comes off).....THE COVER WILL NOT STAY ON/CLICK IN. When I use the cleaner now, it only works for approx. 2 mins before it cuts out......I then have to wait for 15 - 20 mins before it will switch on again. This happens even after the unit is completely clean and empty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compact but powerful. Bought a few weeks ago because having had a Vax before I knew how strong they were and this model is just as powerful. The only problem with them are the fiddley multiple filters which always take so long to clean.

Every time I vacuum the covering on the left wheel pops out when I’m vacuuming it happens 3 or for times while using the vacuum this is the second time this has happened to me the first time this happened my vacuum was replaced what can be done to fix it

When I turn my vax on it sounds like a heavy duty truck. The suction part is not working so nothing is getting picked up when vacuuming.

I rarely use my vacuum and all of a sudden it has stop working. Last time it over heated but I left it to cool down. I cleaned everything out and tried different switches in the house and still won't turn on. What is the problem?

How do i clean the rubbish sitting in the wheel assembly, i have removed the wheel exhust filter fo cleaning but there is a lot under the perforated base of the wheel.Looks like you have to remove the base to properly clean this deposit.

Why does all the dirt stay on top of the filter very little dirt ends up in the barrel where it should go. I vacuum one rug and have to empty. So time consuming. Not happy with this product. I had a vax barrel vacuum for about 15 years.
