BrilliantI only brought it a couple of days ago and finally used it today.
First vacuumed the carpets, great, light and easy, great suction.
Next came the shampooing, well how easy is it, easy as and does a great job, way better than hiring those steam cleaners from Coles or Woolworth, so much easier and quick. Doesn't take long to dry either.
Would highly recommend this product.
Now I can clean my carpets whenever I want

VAX 2000What we thought was and obscure product and quiet expensive at the time has lasted us 25 years. It has lasted through 5 cats 3 dogs and associated house training, messes and accidents.
I has cleaned up wine and food spills, flooded bathrooms and laundry.
It has rescued us from excess storm water in the house and a flooded garage a number of times. It became a work vacuum cleaning up cement dust, timber shavings after construction of my Wife business.
When our now ducted vacuum broke down the VAX 2000 was there. It survived out daughter until the day she moved out and if this was not enough. Our Son was born at 24 weeks and was tube fed for 9 years. At times it would be night after night we would be cleaning up formula from timber floors, carpet , bedding and mattresses, sometime 3 times a night when the formula rate was too high for him to digest or the connecting tube would come detached. During the day it would be reprimed for the next nights work.
The VAX 2000 has saved us many extra costs of re-carpeting rooms and new mattresses and maintenance.
So it’s now time to put our life essential took to rest and clean up in appliance heaven…. But not until I buy a new one just in case.
This has to be one of our best investments ever.

Pet Vax reviewI bought 1 Pet Vax, it was great but as the button's show pictures instead of words. I accidentally burn't the water pump out. It was so good, i gave it away as it was still a good vacuum cleaner. Then bought another the same to shampoo carpets & Vacuum. It is the strongest vacuum cleaner I have ever used & will buy another when this wears out next decade.

The complete floor cleaner.With all the attachments the Vax vacuum cleaner comes with, you really don't need anything else. I bought this vacuum cleaner because I had one about 20 years ago which lasted about 20 years. I've had other vacuum cleaners in between, more expensive than the Vax but nowhere as good.

I bought a Vax POWA 4000 24 yrs ago - still going!Yes unlike your typical consumer product of today, the Vax was built to last. I bought mine while on holiday in Australia and brought it back to NZ. I still have this amazing machine and like Craig, (previous reviewer) I have been extremely pleased with this product which, apart from the difference in coloured panels (blue top and bottom housings vs orange now) appears identical. It has done so much cleaning that we wore out one vacuum head and replaced it with a new one. It has cleaned up paint spills, carpets, car upholstery, furniture, as well as vacuumed reliably for 24 years, and never missed a beat until recently when the water pump, (the yellow Eaton part 125201001) quit just when I needed it most. Am still hunting for a replacement pump because the rest of the machine still works very well. I prefer the reuseable canvas bag over buying consumable paper bags and overall running costs have been minimal. If I can't find a replacement pump I will buy another Vax and keep the old one for general vacuuming work. Best vacuum cleaner (out of four) that I have ever owned!
