Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Powerful Clean I bought this a couple of months ago after my previous vacuum of 9 years finally called it quits. Extremely happy with the Vax to date. Very powerful, so powerful I use it on just over half power as that does the job fantastically. Long hose and cord, navigates like a charm. I buy all my appliances through appliancesonline, including my fridge and washing machine and cannot fault their service or prices. Customer for life here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This vacuum is a bargain for the price. The suction is excellent however as with most bagless vacuums you need to be aware that bigger objects get stuck quite easily. The pipe extension could also be a little longer, not that it is short but I am 5ft 7 and it would be great if I could push the vacuum further while standing in the same spot. It was a steal for the price!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have only used it twice since purchasing it but it does a good job. I am happy with it so far and am just waiting to see how long it lasts. My Miele has just died not because of suction just that the parts are unavailable otherwise it would still be good as new. Hopefully this one will give me a few goods years as well, even though it was a lot cheaper.

After difficulty I established that although the container was only about a quarter full, dirt etc had totally jammed up around the central filter and so the motor had stopped. Getting the contents out was also a challenge. Don't buy this machine. Its almost useless.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor suction and overheats after 1 room is done I brought this from my local big w store in July and within a few days of using it the suction was terrible, I emptied regularly. It also overheats and shuts down after just 1 room is done. I have the worst luck with vacuum cleaners.

It was really annoying whenever I do the vacuum and the wheel coming out. Is this manufacturer defect?

There may be a number of reasons why your suction may be lacking: • The dirt container may be incorrectly installed; remove the dirt container from the unit by pressing the dirt container release catch and then re-attaching it to the unit, ensuring it is locked firmly back into place. • The filter may be clogged; refer to ‘Maintenance: Cleaning the filters’ on pages 6 and 7 of your manual. • The dirt container may be blocked; refer to ‘Maintenance: Emptying and cleaning the dirt container’ on page 6 of you manual. • There may be a blockage in the hose/tube; disconnect from the vacuum cleaner. Carefully remove any blockages found and reconnect securely.
