Q

Is there a high pitched noise coming from the machine?

A

The machine has a float in the dirty water tank that is designed to rise with the level of the water. However, if the machine is jolted, or there is a large amount of foam in the tank, the float may rise to the top. The rising float will block the suction and the machine will make a high pitched noise.

To return the float to its original position, simply switch the machine off, allow it to drop down and then try again

Q

Has the machine cut out whilst in use?

A

The machine is equipped with a safety thermal cut out, which is designed to activate if the air cannot flow through the machine as it should. Allow 24 hours for the machine to cool down thoroughly, in the meantime go to 'No suction in dry mode' for advice on how to clear the blockage.
